Actor Kritika Kamra and television host Gaurav Kapur officially began a new chapter in their lives as they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at their Bandra residence on Wednesday, March 11. Breaking away from the traditional big-fat Indian wedding format, the couple opted for a registered marriage followed by a small pooja at home, choosing to celebrate the occasion quietly with their closest friends and family.

The low-key ceremony was later followed by a private rooftop celebration that brought together several familiar faces from the Indian entertainment and sports industries. Among those who attended the gathering were Farhan Akhtar, Malaika Arora, Neha Dhupia and Angad Bedi, Soha Ali Khan, Pooja Gor, Anya Singh, Masaba Gupta, Rhea Chakraborty, Amrita Arora and Shakeel Ladak.

The guest list also included prominent names from the cricket fraternity such as Zaheer Khan and Sagarika Ghatge, Virender Sehwag, as well as Hazel Keech and Yuvraj Singh, reflecting Gaurav Kapur’s long-standing association with the sports broadcasting world.

For their wedding day, the couple embraced understated elegance with outfits that perfectly complemented the intimate tone of the celebration. Kritika Kamra chose a timeless bridal look in a sindoor-red Chanderi saree crafted from premium tussar silk. The ensemble featured a fluid drape with a delicate zardosi border and was paired with a sleeveless blouse with a deep V-neckline. She completed her bridal look with traditional jewellery including a Victorian-style polki choker, layered with a mid-length necklace adorned with emerald drops, along with statement chandbalis and classic kadas.

Gaurav Kapur, meanwhile, kept his look sophisticated and minimal. The host wore a crisp ivory bandhgala paired with matching trousers and a classic white shirt. Brown leather loafers and subtle accessories, including a statement watch and pocket square, added the finishing touch to his understated yet refined ensemble.

Celebrations for the couple are expected to continue on Thursday, March 12, with a themed gathering described as a “Jazz Night meets Speakeasy Bar” party for friends and family. According to sources close to the couple, Kritika and Gaurav consciously chose to keep their wedding intimate, focusing more on celebrating the occasion with people closest to them rather than hosting elaborate traditional ceremonies.

For those unaware, the couple had confirmed their relationship publicly in December last year after months of speculation, making their wedding announcement a pleasant surprise for fans.
