After much anticipation revolving around the starry Kubera that brings together Nagarjuna, Dhanush, Rashmika Mandanna, and Jim Sarbh for the first time, the makers have dropped the first teaser of the entertainer.  The teaser has definitely sparked ample excitement among fans who are ager to know what more the film has in store for them. Kubera, which will also be releasing in multiple languages, is directed by Sekhar Kammula and Telugu film industry’s ‘Prince’ Mahesh Babu went on to drop the first glimpse.

Along with sharing his best wishes for the film, Mahesh Babu took to the social media platform X aka Twitter, to drop the teaser saying, “A blend of action, drama, and cinematography! All the very best…” The newly released 52-second trailer of Kubera offers a glimpse into the lives of its main characters, with a focus on their financial conditions. Dhanush is seen as a beggar, while Nagarjuna portrays a happy middle-class man. Jim Sarbh plays a wealthy businessman, and Rashmika Mandanna’s character appears to be middle-class but discontent. The teaser hints that the film’s plot revolves around wealth, aligning with the title Kubera. However, the most intriguing aspect of the teaser is Dhanush’s dramatic transformation from a beggar to a well-groomed individual, leaving viewers wondering what triggered this change.

Meanwhile, social media too has reacted to the teaser and many of them have come forward to share their best wishes to the team. Some have even appreciated the teaser and have dropped comments like, “The trailer looks awesome. The intensity, the story and the direction everything looks just amazing. Can’t wait to watch. Dhanush just looked entirely different. In a good way”, “Really #KuberaGlimpse It was fun watching the trailer” “Glimpse looks so good. I am very excited to see both Dhanush and King Nagarjuna of big screen. BTW Rockstar DSP gave a rock solid BGM for Kubera. Waiting for his comeback with this movie. Dhanush stuns everyone with natural performance. King Nag as-usual he nailed it.”

For the unversed, the music and background score of Kubera is composed by Rockstar Devi Sri Prasad who has also garnered much love for the teaser since audiences have appreciated the music. As for its release, the Sekhar Kammula directorial is expected to hit cinemas in 2025 but the date is yet to be finalized.
