Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, and Arjun Kapoor’s Gunday (2014) remains a beloved action-entertainer in Bollywood. Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is remembered for its captivating storytelling, music, and performances. Recently, Priyanka shared a series of unseen behind-the-scenes (BTS) pictures from the film’s sets, offering fans a nostalgic glimpse into the fun and camaraderie during its making.
Priyanka Chopra shared a multi-picture series on social media, featuring behind-the-scenes moments from Gunday. The images included her in sultry outfits from the film, along with playful shots of her with Ranveer Singh, Arjun Kapoor, and the crew. Adding to the nostalgia, Priyanka used the iconic song Asalaam-e-Ishqum as the background score for her post.
Sharing her memories, Priyanka Chopra wrote, “I was going through my phone and these pictures popped up in my memories. Anyone remember this?? One of the most fun jobs ever! Reflecting on his experience in Gunday, Arjun Kapoor recently shared in an interview with Pinkvilla how Priyanka Chopra, despite being a “big star” and seemingly out of their league, graciously agreed to join the film. He also expressed his admiration for working alongside the legendary Irrfan Khan and credited Aditya Chopra for creating a film that resonated with the masses.
Set in the 1970s-80s, Gunday told the gripping story of two best friends, Bala and Bikram, who started as coal thieves and rose to become notorious gangsters in Kolkata. The film’s iconic soundtrack, featuring tracks like Asalaam-e-Ishqum and Jashn-e-Ishqa, continues to be remembered fondly, contributing to its lasting legacy.
