It is a known fact that Diljit Dosanjh has taken India and Punjabi music to a whole new level with his international collaborations and performances. The actor-singer, who has been touring across the country as a part of his pan-India Dil-Luminati tour, kicked off the year 2025 by meeting the honorable Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi and the actor couldn’t help but share about this on his social media handle, where he expressed happiness and gratitude over the same.

Diljit Dosanjh took to the social media platform X aka Twitter, wherein he shared several photos of him meeting and interacting with honorable Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He captioned the pictures saying, “A fantastic start to 2025 A very memorable meeting with PM @narendramodi Ji. We talked about a lot of things including music of course!”

Known for being social media savvy, PM Narendra Modi also opened up about his meeting with Diljit Dosanjh and took to the platform X aka Twitter to share about the same. While he captioned the post in Punjabi, when loosely translated it reads, “Great conversation with Diljit Dosanjh! He is truly multi-talented, a combination of talent and tradition. He is connected to music, culture and much more…”

The Punjabi musician-actor recently found himself in the midst of controversy and bans over using the words alcohol and related words in his lyrics. Despite the same, the musician successfully concluded his Dil-Luminati tour across the country and experienced the mass love he received from audiences from every city. Apart from music, Diljit also has several films in the pipeline including the Hindi film Border 2 which will feature him alongside Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, among others.
