Priyanka Chopra, who recently landed in the country, has sparked ample excitement among fans as she hinted at making a comeback into Indian films with SS Rajamouli’s ambitious project SSMB29 with Mahesh Babu. Meanwhile fans were merely surprised when the actress visited Mumbai in the midst of the film reportedly going on floors. However, later it was revealed that Chopra decided to return home to attend the wedding of her brother Siddharth Chopra and model-actress Neelam Upadhyaya.

In August last year, Priyanka Chopra was in Mumbai along with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas to attend the ‘roka’ ceremony of her brother Siddharth and Neelam. She also shared a glimpse of the beautiful moments from the ceremony with her social media fam. Now, ahead of the wedding, which is expected to be a lavish affair, PC decided to offer a sneak – peek into the extensive preps. After announcing that she is in the city with her daughter Malti Marie Chopra Jonas, the actress dropped a series of photos which included BTS moments of dance rehearsals, prop making to the family enjoying homemade meals together.

Along with that, PC also penned a note saying, “Shaadi ka ghar.. !! and it begins tomorrow ??mere bhai ki shaad hai @siddharthchopra89 with @neelamupadhyaya !! ??sangeet practice to fam jams . So good to be home?? my heart is full, and so is my schedule. Who said a wedding is easy? no one … but is it fun? Absolutely ! looking forward to the next few days ?? @drmadhuakhourichopra”. While Nick Jonas has not yet arrived, we hear that the American pop musician will be arriving a couple of days, ahead of the wedding ceremony.

Meanwhile, Priyanka Chopra has decided to take a break from her hectic schedule. The actress, who has kicked off Citadel Season 2 along with releases like Heads of State and The Bluff already in the pipeline, now, has SSMB29 too added to the lineup. Apart from that, she also has Jee Le Zaraa with Farhan Akhtar which is expected to co-star Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt but there has been no update on that front.
