Amitabh Bachchan reveals he worked till 5.30 am amid emotional turmoil: “Just forgot there was important Blog work”
Amitabh Bachchan, regarded as one of the finest actors in Indian cinema, continues to inspire fans with his dedication and passion even at the age of 83. Known for his vast body of work across multiple languages and numerous award-winning performances, the veteran star remains deeply connected to his audience through his regular posts on Tumblr. In his latest update, Amitabh revealed that his work commitments have been keeping him occupied through long, exhausting hours.
Sharing his experience of working through the night, Amitabh wrote, “Kept working till 5:30 in the morning .. and just forgot there was important Blog work and responses to give.. so apologies and regrets .. But regret never for the Ef.”
In an earlier post, the actor opened up about the emotional turmoil he has been experiencing over the past few days. He wrote, “Images and feelings of the past days still linger and the mind and body is unresponsive to the routine of work .. But they keep saying that ‘the show must go on’ .. whoever said this may have meant good and with some positivity, but they that suffer, bear the brunt of the sadness that still remains to be filtered ..”
Amitabh also mentioned a thoughtful gesture from the Kaun Banega Crorepati crew, sharing, “The crew of KBC took me out after the days’ work to dine with them .. a fine South Indian place .. delicious food and company .. but the heart mourns .. more so because none of them knew that it was Babuji’s birth Anniversary .. to each his own ..”
For those unaware, Amitabh recently suffered the loss of his close friend and legendary actor Dharmendra, who passed away at the age of 89 after prolonged ill health.
On the professional front, Amitabh was last seen in Kalki 2898 AD, directed by Nag Ashwin. Starring alongside Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Kamal Haasan, his powerful portrayal of Ashwatthama earned widespread appreciation, contributing to the film’s massive worldwide success of over Rs. 1,000 crore.
