Bollywood actress Celina Jaitly marked her brother Major Vikrant Kumar Jaitly’s birthday with an emotional and deeply personal note, drawing attention once again to his prolonged detention in the UAE. The actor shared the message on December 16, 2025, expressing her anguish over being unable to contact him for more than a year.

In her post, Celina addressed her brother as her “baby brother,” recalling their close bond and the many moments they shared as a family. The note also reflected on their last conversation on August 26, 2024, a detail she described as particularly painful, as she had not anticipated it would be the last time she would hear his voice.

Celina emphasised that she continues to stand by her brother and has not given up hope of bringing him back home. She reiterated her determination to keep fighting for him, stating that she would not stop until he returns to India. Her message highlighted not just the emotional toll of his absence but also her pride in him, referring to him not by his rank, but as the caring family member he has always been to her.

The post comes at a difficult time for the actress, as it follows closely after reports of her filing a domestic violence case against her husband, Peter Haag, with divorce proceedings reportedly underway.
