Divya Khossla gets candid on Bollywood toxicity; says, “Bollywood is a place where there are crocodiles all around”
Divya Khossla recently interacted with fans in an AMA session on Reddit, where she answered questions covering a wide range of topics from her acting journey to her personal beliefs and her thoughts on Bollywood. The actor even chose to respond through video messages on the platform, engaging directly with users as she addressed their queries.

During the session, Divya made a strong and candid remark about the Hindi film industry. Sharing how she navigates the pressures and unpredictability of showbiz, she said, “I myself feel that bollywood is a place where there are crocodiles all around and you feel like you are navigate your way through it.” Her statement highlighted the challenges of surviving in an industry she feels can be harsh and demanding.
Explaining how she maintains her mental balance, Divya emphasised staying grounded and authentic. She added, “I think the most imp thing is to remain true to your own self. I will never sell my soul to get work. hota hai toh theek hai nahi hota toh bhi theek hai and what’s more imp is when you reach up you should have good slate of karma to carry with you.”
When asked about her favourite film experience, she immediately mentioned Savi. Sharing why it stands out, she said, “Has to be Savi. The most amazing shoot in uk in almost minus 10 degrees for 42 days non-stop. But the production was so well organised that it set a benchmark for me to compare Savi set experience with all my other movies.”
Divya also reacted to rumours about her marriage with Bhushan Kumar. Without hesitation, she dismissed the buzz, saying, “No But the media really wants it.”
The actor’s latest film, Ek Chatur Naar, features her as a street-smart woman navigating unexpected twists in a thriller-comedy setting, continuing her journey of exploring varied roles.
