At number three stands Saiyaara, the romantic drama that became one of the year’s biggest surprises. Opening at a respectable Rs. 22 crore, the Ahaan Panday-led film showcased exceptional word-of-mouth legs, eventually collecting Rs. 337.78 crore and firmly establishing itself as a breakout blockbuster.
The fourth position belongs to Kantara: A Legend – Chapter 1 (Hindi). The film opened at Rs. 18.5 crore and steadily built momentum, riding on strong cultural resonance and audience appreciation to reach an impressive Rs. 224.39 crore at the India box office.
Occupying the fifth spot is War 2, featuring Hrithik Roshan alongside Jr. NTR. The much-anticipated sequel took off with a thunderous Rs. 29 crore opening and wrapped up its theatrical run with Rs. 185.13 crore, reaffirming the franchise’s pull and the enduring appeal of large-scale action entertainers.
Next is Mahavatar Narsimha, which opened to solid numbers and went on to collect Rs. 182.83 crore. The mythological epic benefitted from strong visuals, devotional appeal and steady audience interest across regions.

At number seven is Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2. The sequel began its journey with a Rs. 19.71 crore opening day and sustained well enough to close at Rs. 178.08 crore, proving once again that content-backed franchises with credible storytelling enjoy long shelf lives at the box office.
The eighth spot is claimed by Aamir Khan’s comeback film Sitaare Zameen Par. Opening to Rs. 15.67 crore, the emotionally driven drama relied on audience goodwill and strong word of mouth to eventually amass Rs. 165.67 crore, marking a reassuring return for the actor after a hiatus.
Entertainer Housefull 5 lands at number nine. The Akshay Kumar-led franchise film kicked off with a Rs. 24.35 crore opening and wrapped its run at Rs. 160.72 crore, reaffirming the enduring value of comedy franchises in the theatrical ecosystem.
Rounding off the top ten is Sky Force. Opening to Rs. 15.3 crore, the action drama completed its theatrical run with Rs. 131.44 crore, ensuring Akshay Kumar featured twice among the year’s highest grossers.
