Farrhana Bhatt and Amaal Mallik, who struck a warm bond during their stint on Bigg Boss 19, have once again grabbed attention — this time for giving the show’s success party in Dubai a miss. While several contestants, including Ashnoor Kaur, Pranit More and even winner Gaurav Khanna, flew to Dubai to celebrate the conclusion of the reality show’s latest season, Farrhana and Amaal chose a completely different destination.
Much to fans’ surprise, the duo is currently holidaying in Malta. Farrhana confirmed the same by sharing a series of Instagram stories, offering glimpses from their picturesque getaway. In one of the videos, Farrhana is seen teasing fans about their location before passing the baton to Amaal. Without revealing too much initially, she said, “Hum ek nayi destination pe phoch chuke hain jo batayenge mere param mitr Amaal Mallik. (We have arrived at a new destination, which my dear friend Amaal Mallik will tell you about).”
Amaal then revealed the surprise, saying, “Guys, we are in Malta! We have cancelled the Dubai trip.” Farrhana followed it up with a humorous remark that instantly caught fans’ attention. “We are not interested. We have rejected Burj Khalifa and have decided to come to Malta. Understand guys,” she said, making it clear that their decision was deliberate and not due to scheduling issues.

The unexpected detour has set social media abuzz, with fans speculating that the Malta trip could be linked to a project the two had previously hinted at. Farrhana had earlier spoken about a potential collaboration with Amaal during an interaction with Film Window, where she confirmed that something was indeed in the pipeline. “We are planning some work together. Some project is there,” she had said, without divulging further details.
Interestingly, despite receiving praise for her singing on Bigg Boss 19 — including encouragement from Amaal himself — Farrhana clarified that their upcoming collaboration will not revolve around music. Addressing the appreciation she received, she had shared, “After I came out of the show, people really liked my singing. I don’t think I’m a good singer yet- maybe my voice is slightly good. But there are so many nuances in singing that don’t come naturally. If I get the time, I’d like to focus a bit more on improving my singing. However, the upcoming collaboration between Amaal and me won’t be for singing. It will be something else.”
While the duo has remained tight-lipped about the nature of their project, their Malta vacation has only intensified curiosity.
