Actor Vijay has found himself at the centre of renewed media attention after he was recently spotted attending a wedding reception alongside actor Trisha Krishnan. The appearance has sparked online discussions, especially as reports regarding developments in Vijay’s personal life continue to circulate.
The two actors were seen arriving at the wedding reception hosted for the son of film producer Kalpathi Suresh and Meenakshi. A video from the event has since surfaced on social media platforms, showing Vijay stepping out of a car holding a bouquet of flowers while Trisha followed closely behind him. Vijay and Trisha share a long professional association in Tamil cinema, having collaborated in several films over the years. According to multiple media reports, Vijay is currently undergoing divorce proceedings with his wife Sangeetha Sornalingam, whom he married in 1999. Some reports have also suggested that the petition includes accusations of an alleged extramarital relationship involving the actor and a fellow actress. Adding to the speculation, reports have also suggested that Vijay’s son Jason Sanjay may have unfollowed the actor on social media. Vijay and Sangeetha are parents to two children, including their daughter Divya Saasha.
