During their recent stay in Coorg, the couple spent time at Evolve Back Coorg, a luxury plantation resort in the Western Ghats. The property later shared a note about hosting them during the visit.

It wrote: “A homecoming, a birthday, and a beautiful new chapter. It was our pleasure to host the renowned Indian film power couple, Ms Rashmika Mandanna and Mr Vijay Deverakonda, at Evolve Back Coorg during their recent visit. The occasion was made even more special as Ms Mandanna celebrated her birthday with her loved ones.”

The resort also mentioned Rashmika’s connection with the region and her efforts to introduce Vijay Deverakonda to her native land. “A proud Kodavati, Ms Mandanna took great joy in introducing her husband to her native land. They had a truly memorable time with us, and we look forward to welcoming them back to Evolve Back Coorg once again.”

A plantation retreat in the Western Ghats

Evolve Back Coorg is located within a 300-acre coffee and spice plantation in the Western Ghats of Karnataka. The property was earlier known as Orange County. The resort offers plantation-style villas and Kodava-inspired stays. Some villas include private pools and views of the surrounding greenery.

Among its accommodation options is the Lily Pool Bungalow. A one-night stay for two guests with breakfast and dinner included is priced at about Rs 1,03,000, inclusive of taxes. The property also features an adults-only infinity pool near the plantation edge and adjoining forest areas. A separate swimming pool is available for families with child-safe zones.

Experiences rooted in Coorg’s culture

The resort houses the Sidapur Coffee and Culture Museum, where visitors can learn about the history of coffee cultivation in Coorg and its connection to local traditions. Guests can also explore the process of coffee production and sample different varieties.

A reading lounge built on stilts overlooks paddy fields and coffee estates. It is designed as a quiet space for relaxation. The property also includes an Ayurveda centre offering traditional therapies administered by trained practitioners.
