Tanuja picks ‘director’ Aditya Dhar over Ranveer Singh as the hero of ‘Dhurandhar’; calls it a ‘landmark’ film in fun review with Tanishaa Mukerji

The buzz around Dhurandhar The Revenge continues to grow, and the latest voices to join the conversation are veteran actress Tanuja and her daughter Tanishaa Mukerji, who recently shared a light-hearted review of the film after watching it together.

In a candid and playful interaction, Tanishaa began by asking her mother about her experience of the film. “I did it again I took my mommy for Dhurandar, mummy tell me what was your Dhurandar experience like?” Tanuja didn’t hold back her excitement and immediately responded, “Outstanding movie, outstanding.”

The conversation soon turned interesting when Tanishaa asked who truly stood out in the film — the lead actor or the filmmaker. Tanuja immediately answered, “The director – 110 percent”. While the veteran actress credited the director as the driving force, Tanishaa was quick to applaud Ranveer Singh and the ensemble cast. “Ranveer was also fabulous like outstanding everyone”. Agreeing to her, Tanuja added, “Everybody did well”.

Praising the casting and performances, Tanishaa highlighted how convincingly the actors portrayed their real-life inspired characters. “Everyone was so well cast like the whole putting together and they’re all real-life characters the way they played. Ranveer was looking the part he was he was just outstanding really.” “He did a good job,” shared Tanuja.

Adding a sweet personal moment, Tanishaa jokingly asked her mother to pick her favourite from the film. “Who did you like the best? Me you know?” The doting mother joked back, “Yeah, you you.” “For taking you for the film. But mama say now say find Indian film industry what a film. Landmark,” Tanishaa asserted.

Tanuja further emphasised the film’s impact, especially given its length and storytelling, “The director is fabulous good director excellent very well put together considering is such a long film it was very well put together no moment which was boring”, she concluded.

Dhurandhar The Revenge is a patriotic action espionage drama that follows the journey of a covert operative navigating high-stakes missions and personal sacrifices. The film blends intense action with emotional depth, presenting a story rooted in national pride and real-world inspirations.
