Sonam Kapoor Ahuja pens emotional note for husband Anand Ahuja on 8th wedding anniversary: “There’s nobody else I’d rather do this life with”
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja marked her eighth wedding anniversary with husband Anand Ahuja by sharing an emotional post on social media that gave fans a glimpse into their journey together over the years. The actress posted a montage video featuring cherished moments from their dating phase, wedding celebrations, travels, and family life, accompanied by a deeply personal note dedicated to her husband.
Expressing her love and gratitude, Sonam wrote, “A decade with you. Eight years married. Three cities. Three homes. Two beautiful boys. Countless dreams built from scratch. So many risks taken, lessons learnt, businesses created, failures survived, victories celebrated and moments where we held each other a little tighter through the uncertainty of it all.”
She further added, “And somehow, through every version of life we’ve lived together, one thing has only become more certain…my love, respect and compassion for you have only grown deeper. You are still the first person I want to speak to in the morning and the last person I want beside me at night. The calm in my chaos. The person who makes me feel safest, strongest and most myself”.
Reflecting on how their relationship has evolved over time, the actress continued, “Ten years later, I love you more gently, more intentionally and more completely than I knew was possible when we first began. Thank you for building this life with me. For the laughter, the friendship, the resilience, the family and the kind of love that evolves instead of fades”. Concluding the note, Sonam wrote, “There’s nobody else I’d rather do this life with. Happy anniversary my love”.

Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja tied the knot in a grand yet intimate ceremony in Mumbai in May 2018, attended by close friends and several members of the film industry. Their wedding festivities had become one of the most talked-about celebrity events of the year.
The couple welcomed their first child, son Vayu, in 2022. Earlier this year in March, the duo embraced parenthood once again as they welcomed their second son, adding another joyful chapter to their growing family journey.
