Satyaprem Ki Katha Advance Booking: Kartik Aaryan defeats Akshay Kumar Ajay Devgn & Salman Khan; sells 58000 tickets across the national chains

Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani’s Satyaprem Ki Katha has surprised with its advance booking trends and is headed for a double-digit opening at the box office in India. The film has closed at the national chains by selling approximately 58,000 tickets. While PVR leads from the front with 29,000 tickets, Inox follows with 17,000 tickets, and finally Cinepolis at 11,000.

The general expectation from Satyaprem Ki Katha was to hit 40,000 tickets in the three chains, but the film has surprised and overperformed in a big way with an additional pump to 58,000. The advance booking for Satyaprem Ki Katha in 3 chains is better than Salman Khan’s Eid 2023 release, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan and almost neck to neck with Hrithik Roshan’s Gandhi Jayanti release Vikram Vedha, and Aamir Khan’s Independence Day release, Laal Singh Chaddha.

The film has surpassed the overall advance of big Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgn films like Ram Setu, Bholaa, Thank God, Prithviraj, Selfiee, Bachcchan Paandey, and Runway 34 among others, by a good margin. The aforementioned films had scored an advance in the range of 30,000 to 50,000 in the three chains.

Satyaprem Ki Katha may now be looking at a start of Rs. 10 crores on Day 1.
