SatyaPrem Ki Katha Box Office: Film has decent collections on Friday should grow now today and tomorrow; collects Rs. 7 cr on Day 2

It was yet another decent day for SatyaPrem Ki Katha as Rs. 7 crores came in. On its opening day the film had collected Rs. 9.25 crores and since Friday was a regular working day, it was a given that there would be a drop. The question though was that how big the drop would be but then since the word of mouth is positive here, it was expected that it would all be under control.

This is what happened as well and as a result the overall collections stand at Rs. 16.25 crores. The film now needs to see double digit collections coming today and tomorrow so that it can make a dash for that Rs. 38-40 crores extended weekend. There is a lot at stake with this Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani starrer which has managed to fetch good critical alleviation already. What needs to happen now is for that to translate into footfalls as well.

Today is especially an important day for the film as that would set the tone for the lifetime score. If it manages to go past the Rs. 9.25 crores mark today or at least come really close to that then the game is on for the Sajid Nadiadwala film to aim for that big push on Sunday. It would be an interesting journey for the Sameer Vidwans directed romantic drama from this point on.

Note: All collections as per production and distribution sources
