Hrithik Roshan promises War 2 will be fun: “My challenge is to show Kabir in a different light”

Hrithik Roshan starrer Fighter is currently running in the theatres. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. In a recent conversation, the actor spoke about the aerial actioner and the sequel of War, starring Jr. NTR.

In a conversation with Pinkvilla, Hrithik Roshan said, “Kabir has definitely left a mark. And getting into Kabir’s boots is going to be fun because this time, my challenge is to show Kabir in a different light. A different aspect of him which is going to be interesting”.

War 2 will be the sixth movie in the YRF Spy Universe. This includes Ek Tha Tiger (2012), Tiger Zinda Hai (2017), War (2019), Pathaan (2022), and Tiger 3 (2023). Hrithik had a cameo as Kabir in the post-credits of Tiger 3, which was helmed by Ayan Mukerji. This will eventually lead to Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan starrer Tiger vs Pathaan.

Interestingly, War 2 already commenced shooting last year with body doubles. However, Hrithik Roshan and Jr. NTR are set to kick off their schedules in February 2024. The film aims to be released in 2025.
