Allu Arjun starrer Pushpa 2 – The Rule has garnered ample love from the audience at the box office, becoming one of the biggest success stories of Indian Cinema. Now, fans of the franchise are super excited to have the film viewing experience at their homes as it is all set for an OTT release. While all eyes were on the digital premiere of the biggest blockbuster of 2024, the wait seems to have finally ended with the details being locked. As per latest news, Netflix has bagged the OTT rights of the film. However, fans will have to continue to wait for the release of the Hindi version, since the platform has asserted that the movie will only be releasing in South languages on this streaming site.

Netflix will release the new version, Pushpa 2 – The Rule Reloaded with extra footage

Taking to the social media platform X aka Twitter, the streaming site sparked much excitement among fans as they revealed that the new version of the film, which was released in theatres on January 17, will be premiering on the platform which will be featuring 24 minutes of extra footage. Sharing a poster of the film, Netflix captioned the post saying, “The man. The myth. The brAAnd Pushpa’s rule is about to begin! Watch Pushpa 2- Reloaded Version with 23 minutes of extra footage on Netflix, coming soon in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam & Kannada!” While the release date has not been added in the tweet, the Netflix site has dropped the film’s poster in the New & Hot Section along with the release date that says that the film will be premiering on January 30.


About Pushpa 2 – The Rule

Taking the journey of Allu Arjun as Pushparaj ahead after he becomes a feared gangster from a small-time sandalwood smuggler, the film traces the tale of vengeance as SP Bhanwar Singh Shekhawat would stop at nothing to bring down the Pushparaj syndicate. Starring Fahadh Faasil as the lead antagonist, the movie features Rashmika Mandanna as Pushpa’s wife Srivalli along with an ensemble supporting cast. The film released in theatres on December 5 in multiple languages including Hindi.
