Thandel Trailer: Naga Chaitanya, Sai Pallavi starrer promises a wave of love, thrill and patriotism
The much-awaited trailer of Thandel was unveiled on January 31 amid much fanfare in Mumbai as it promises to take on a thrilling ride with jaw-dropping moments. Headlined by Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, the film is poised to deliver a never-seen-before action drama, inspired by real life, telling a tale of a fisherman who gets caught by Pakistan forces in international waters.
The trailer offers a glimpse into the world of Thandel, wherein several instances showcase the romantic side of Chay and Sai’s on-screen relationship and their yearning, setting the tone for their adorable chemistry that audience will get to witness in the entertainer. On the other hand, the clip also carries a blend of raw and rugged action-packed sequences, conflict, and separation. Beyond being a romantic thriller, Thandel also features patriotic elements with power-packed punches and dialogues that are poised to give audiences a rush of adrenaline.
Previously, Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi have amazed the audiences with their on-screen chemistry in Love Story, and the duo is set to do it all over again!
Speaking of the launch, Aamir Khan, who was a special guest at the event, gushed about his Laal Singh Chaddha co-star Naga Chaitanya and also shared his thoughts on the trailer saying, “When the story is good, the audience will definitely watch the film. I really loved the trailer; it’s fantastic and beautifully shot. ‘Dhinka Chika’, composed by DSP, is my favorite song—I can’t help but dance when I hear it.”
Beyond Naga Chaitanya and Sai Pallavi, Thandel boasts an impressive ensemble crew, including National Award-winning composer Devi Sri Prasad scoring the music, Shamdat handling the cinematography, National Award-winning Naveen Nooli as the editor, and Srinagendra Tangala leading the art department. Also starring Prakash Belawadi and Karunakaran, the film is helmed by director Chandoo Mondeti and produced by Bunny Vasu under the banner of Geetha Arts, with Allu Aravind presenting it. It is scheduled to land in the theatres on February 7 in all South Languages as well as in Hindi.
