The romantic drama became a blockbuster and firmly established both actors among fans. While the film’s success continues to be celebrated, the Evening Club Shillong recently took fans down memory lane, sharing throwback images from Ahaan’s preparation days for his character Krish Kapoor.

The club’s post painted a vivid picture of Ahaan’s immersive journey, “It was the spring of 2024, the blockbuster movie Saiyaara was just a script and Ahaan Panday was getting prepared. He heard about the thriving music culture of Shillong and thought it would be the perfect place to study the craft and people who create it. With nothing but a bag, his guitar and an open heart, he arrived in Shillong. He met musicians and made friends, observed practice sessions and live performances, bonded over conversations of struggle and success, and imbibed all that he could towards his character, Krish Kapoor of Josh.”

Reflecting on the film’s success, the Evening Club added, “A year and a half later, Saiyaara is a major success! With a humble heart full of gratitude and promise that was kept, Ahaan returns to the Evening Club to celebrate with us… this time with none other than his mentor and director, the renowned Mohit Suri himself! Megastar Shah Rukh Khan, who recently gave a blockbuster with Pathaan , has been included in Time magazine’s annual 100 Most Influential People of 2023.
