Vicky Kaushal calls Dhurandhar The Revenge “nothing short of gold standard”: “You deserve every bit of this success”
Vicky Kaushal recently shared his reaction after watching Dhurandhar The Revenge, congratulating the film’s team through a heartfelt Instagram story. The actor praised director Aditya Dhar and the entire cast and crew, calling the film a benchmark in craft and sincerity.
Sharing his appreciation publicly, Vicky wrote, “#DhurandharTheRevenge @adityadharfilms !!! I’m so shook, so proud and in absolute awe of the craft, hard work and sincerity with which you have made this film. Nothing short of gold standard. You deserve every bit of this success. Congratulations bhai 
”
He also applauded lead actor Ranveer Singh’s performance, adding, “@ranveersingh you inspire me brother. Your finesse and flare as an actor is unmatched. Honsla Eendhan Badla

A bond shaped by Uri: The Surgical Strike
Vicky Kaushal and Aditya Dhar share a long professional association that goes back to Uri: The Surgical Strike, which marked Dhar’s directorial debut and became a turning point in the actor’s career after his critically acclaimed start with Masaan. The success of Uri established both as major creative forces in mainstream Hindi cinema.
Their association also reflects a personal connection beyond work. Vicky named his son Vihaan, the same name as his character Major Vihaan Shergill in Uri. Responding to the announcement at the time, Aditya Dhar had written, “@vicky @katrina huge congratulations!! Mere Vikkuuu, from bringing Major Vihaan Shergill to life on screen to now holding little Vihaan in your arms, life really has come full circle.
