As the buzz around Dhurandhar: The Revenge continues to grow, several Bollywood celebrities have come forward to praise the film and its team. The second and final chapter of the franchise, directed by Aditya Dhar, has struck a chord with audiences since its theatrical release on March 19, quickly emerging as a major box office success.

At the International Film Festival of Delhi (IFFD), actors including Vicky Kaushal, Kangana Ranaut and Vivek Oberoi shared their thoughts on the film, highlighting its impact and storytelling.

Vicky Kaushal expressed his excitement about the film’s reception and shared that he is looking forward to watching it soon. In a video posted by ANI, he said, “I am just loving how Dhurandhar is working. I loved the first part. I am yet to watch the second part. But, Aditya is a great filmmaker. He got a great cast together and I am so happy that the film is getting so much love from everyone. And I can’t wait to catch this. As soon as I go back to Mumbai, I will watch the film”.

Kangana Ranaut, meanwhile, spoke about the larger shift in Indian cinema, noting how films like Dhurandhar 2 reflect a changing narrative. In an interaction with media at the fest, including ANI, Ranaut shared,  “There are films which have showcased India in a bad light in the past. But today, many films like Dhurandhar 2 reflect the spirit of a new India which showcases culture, patriotism, along with modernity”.

Echoing similar sentiments, Vivek Oberoi highlighted the film’s broader global significance. He noted that the project, along with its team, has contributed to amplifying India’s voice on the international stage. According to him, Indian storytelling is increasingly gaining worldwide recognition, and films such as Dhurandhar 2 are playing a key role in driving that momentum forward.

The strong endorsements from industry voices come at a time when Dhurandhar: The Revenge is enjoying a robust theatrical run. With its blend of action, emotion and patriotic themes, the film has managed to resonate with audiences across demographics.

As conversations around the film continue to gain traction, the response from both audiences and the film fraternity suggests that Dhurandhar 2 is not just a commercial success, but also a cultural talking point in contemporary Hindi cinema.
