Priyanka Chopra Jonas gave fans a glimpse into her much-needed day off amid the ongoing shoot of SS Rajamouli’s highly anticipated film Varanasi. The actor took to social media late on May 31 to share a series of pictures and videos from her relaxing Sunday in Hyderabad, where she is currently filming the ambitious project.

The carousel post showcased how Priyanka spent her downtime before returning to the film’s demanding schedule. From enjoying a refreshing swim to indulging in a self-care routine, the actor appeared to make the most of her break.

Among the photos shared by Priyanka were poolside snapshots in which she was seen posing in black swimwear. She also posted a video from her swim session, offering followers a glimpse of her leisurely afternoon. In addition, the actor shared pictures featuring her skincare routine, including a face mask, highlighting a quiet moment of relaxation away from the camera.

Adding a touch of summer nostalgia to the post, Priyanka also uploaded photographs of herself enjoying jamun, popularly known as Indian blackberry, a seasonal fruit loved across the country. Captioning the post, the actor wrote, “Sunday done right now summer here I come ..”

Priyanka is currently occupied with Varanasi, one of the most anticipated Indian films in production. Directed by acclaimed filmmaker SS Rajamouli, the project is expected to blend mythology, time travel and action-adventure elements on a grand scale.

The film features Mahesh Babu in the lead role, while Priyanka will reportedly be seen playing the character of Mandakini. Actor Prithviraj Sukumaran also plays a pivotal role in the project, which has generated significant excitement since its announcement. While details about the story remain closely guarded, Varanasi is already being regarded as one of the biggest upcoming cinematic ventures in Indian cinema. The film is currently being shot across multiple locations and is slated for a theatrical release in April 2027.

Ivy Entertainment drags co-producer of Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab to Delhi High Court over alleged contractual breaches: Report

Delhi-based Ivy Entertainment, a subsidiary of Ivy Holdings, has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against Hyderabad-based People Media Factory Pvt Ltd (PMF), the co-producers of the much-awaited Pan-India film,  The Raja Saab , as per an article in The Economic Times. The company is seeking a permanent injunction over what it claims are serious breaches of contractual obligations. In its plea, Ivy Entertainment alleged that PMF failed to fulfil several critical commitments, including completing and releasing the film within the agreed timeline, providing monthly production updates, disclosing how funds were being utilized, delivering agreed materials related to the film, and postponing the theatrical release multiple times without justification. The company claims that these breaches triggered termination clauses in the agreements, prompting it to demand a refund of Rs. 218 crores invested in the project, along with 18% annual interest.
