Main Vaapas Aaunga is nearing the end of its impressive theatrical journey. The film collected Rs. 5 lakhs in its eighth weekend, taking its cumulative box office collections to Rs. 65.22 crores. The film collected Rs. 1 lakh on its eighth Friday, followed by Rs. 2 lakhs each on Saturday and Sunday. As a result, its eighth-weekend collections amounted to Rs. 5 lakhs.

Notably, Bollywood Hungama had predicted that Main Vaapas Aaunga would conclude its theatrical run with lifetime collections in the range of Rs. 64 to Rs. 66 crores. With the film’s total now standing at Rs. 65.22 crores, the prediction has proved to be accurate.

The film is unlikely to add significantly to its total from this point, given the limited number of shows and the arrival of newer releases. Nevertheless, its ability to remain in cinemas for eight weekends underlines its strong word of mouth and sustained audience appreciation.

Main Vaapas Aaunga is now expected to finish its theatrical run at approximately Rs. 65.25 crores.

Ivy Entertainment drags co-producer of Prabhas-starrer The Raja Saab to Delhi High Court over alleged contractual breaches: Report

Delhi-based Ivy Entertainment, a subsidiary of Ivy Holdings, has filed a petition in the Delhi High Court against Hyderabad-based People Media Factory Pvt Ltd (PMF), the co-producers of the much-awaited Pan-India film,  The Raja Saab , as per an article in The Economic Times. The company is seeking a permanent injunction over what it claims are serious breaches of contractual obligations. In its plea, Ivy Entertainment alleged that PMF failed to fulfil several critical commitments, including completing and releasing the film within the agreed timeline, providing monthly production updates, disclosing how funds were being utilized, delivering agreed materials related to the film, and postponing the theatrical release multiple times without justification. The company claims that these breaches triggered termination clauses in the agreements, prompting it to demand a refund of Rs. 218 crores invested in the project, along with 18% annual interest.
